Professional Summary
LTC Peters has served in leadership and staff positions from the platoon to the Major Command level in duty stations throughout the United States. Additionally, he has deployed twice to Southern Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and traveled to South America for security force assistance missions.
Industry Experience
LTC Peters has served in multiple leadership positions as both an Infantryman and Signaleer to include: Heavy Weapons Platoon Leader, Assistant S3, and Company Executive Officer, 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, Battalion S6, Headquarters Support Company Commander, and Brigade Signal Company Commander, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division; Brigade S6 and Brigade Engineer Battalion Executive Officer, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division; and Brigade S6, 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade. LTC Peters has served in broadening assignments at First Army Headquarters, Rock Island Arsenal, IL and most recently served as the Executive Officer to the FORSCOM G6, Fort Liberty, NC.
LTC Peters is a graduate of the Infantry Officer Basic Course, Signal Captains Career Course, the Command and General Staff College, US Army Airborne School, US Army Air Assault School, Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape Course – Level C, US Army Advanced Airborne School Jumpmaster Course, and the US Army Ranger School.
