SFC Hines, Paul B. was born in Monroe, LA, on 10 January 1990. He graduated High School in 2008 and enlisted in the United States Army the same year. SFC Hines enlisted as a 13 Bravo and attended Basic and Advanced Individual Training at FT Sill OK, in 2009. Upon completion of AIT his first duty station was FT Bliss TX, SFC Hines was in 4-27 FA and was a part of the Network Integration Evaluation Program where he helped tested new products for the Artillery including the Excalibur round. SFC Hines PCSd three years later to Fort Stewart GA 1-9 FAR and deployed six months later to FOB Shank Afghanistan for nine months. SFC Hines redeployed to FT Stewart and a year later left to support an AFRICOM mission in Tanzania Africa, he worked with multiple countries top generals and was the NCOIC of the Mayor Cell while there. In 2017 He went to FT Hood TX and took over 1-82 FAR as the Bravo BTRY 2 nd PLT PSG. While the PSG SFC Hines won Top Battery and Top Platoon two years in a row and did one rotation to Poland and Germany in Operation Atlantic Resolve. SFC Hines Spent 26 months as a PSG and was awarded the Honorary ST. Barbs medal one of the highest awards given to Artillerymen. In 2020, SFC Hines PCSd to Ypsilanti, MI where he is a Military Instructor for the Eagle Battalion.
