SMART Skills for Kids is a research-supported group intervention designed to help children ages 5 to 8 build stronger self-regulation, attention, and emotional coping skills. Through mindfulness practices and activities that target executive functioning, children learn to manage their behavior, regulate emotions, and think more flexibly—skills that promote resilience both in and out of the classroom. The program includes 12 group sessions over 6 weeks, along with individual sessions with families before and after the group to personalize support and track progress.
