Sara Lynne Schultz, Coordinator

Sara Lynne has degrees in Mathematics, History and Educational Leadership. She is currently working on her doctorate in education. With over ten years at EMU, she has taught a wide range of math courses from developmental to discrete mathematics. She is an NTA certified tutor, tutor trainer and coach. With her work in the tutoring lab, Sara Lynne hopes to promote a positive and encouraging environment of study where students can practice skills and gain an understanding of math. Sara Lynne is passionate about helping students figure out their college academic journey. She is excited to return to the college campus and assist students in conquering their goals and meet their full potential.

When not working in the tutoring lab, Sara Lynne enjoys camping, reading true crime novels and hanging with her two dogs. If you stop by her office you will see her love of nerd culture- one of her many DeLorean diecast cars is the prime example.

Woojin Suh, Graduate Assistant

Hello, my name is Woojin Suh. I was originally born in South Korea but have been living in the US for almost 2 decades. I was originally a business student at Eastern, studying finance but started doing a math minor during my bachelor’s, which later turned into a math major. Now I’m doing a master’s in applied statistics here at Eastern. Outside my academic life, I really enjoy carpool karaoke and tennis.

Anea Gaskin, Receptionist

I’m a senior at EMU, majoring in Social Work. I enjoy being in nature, writing poetry, and reading. One fun fact about me is I traveled to Europe for two weeks and toured France, Spain, Monaco, Italy, and Amsterdam.

Shelby Chick, Receptionist

I’m an English major with a concentration in Literature and plan to graduate Winter 2026. I love reading, writing, and crocheting; you’ll probably find me doing one of the three at the desk. Before returning to EMU, I received a degree in Business Management which I’m still studying as my minor.
