Kathryn Farkas, M.Ed. - University Ombuds
Kathryn Farkas (she/they) serves as University Ombuds in the Office of the Ombuds at Eastern Michigan University. She received her M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Vanderbilt University, as well as a B.A. in Public Administration from the University of Michigan-Flint.
Kathryn is a compassionate and strategic educator with a focus on restorative justice, policy and program evaluation, continuous systemic redesign and improvement, and degree completion. Their previous work includes a range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional experience working in universities and camp settings such as housing, orientation, advising, leadership, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and Title IX.
