Gen. G, EMU unveil multi-year, comprehensive esports program
The first of this kind of partnership in Michigan, it will focus on connecting with current students, faculty, and alumni. The program will also include a Women in Gaming summer camp plus a high school invitational.
Michigan High School esports league to host State Championship Grand Finals at EMU
The growing popularity of gaming presents opportunities for students to train, perform and engage with others from across the state. As a result of this trend, the Michigan High School Esports League (MHSEL) is hosting their grand finals at Eastern Michigan University’s Student Center on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 1-5:30 p.m.
EMU esports partner pledges $1 million towards gaming industry
On Thursday, Aug. 27, global esports organization Gen. G announced a $1 million commitment towards developing the next generation of gaming-industry leaders, with Eastern Michigan University (EMU) as a foundation partner.
