Room 116, Halle Library

The library underwent a major transformation this summer, and the Academic Projects Center has moved to the north side of the library's first floor. There are a variety of new furniture configurations that make the Academic Projects Center a great place to work on individual or group projects.
Librarians offer point-of-need help with research and technology to students working on research papers and other academic projects in the Academic Projects Center, which is now located on the north side of the first floor of the Halle Library. We provide project-oriented support on a drop-in basis from Monday-Thursday from 10-7 and Friday from 10-3. During hours other than these, help is still available.
After the renovation of the first floor is completed, we will also offer tech enhanced group workrooms, which features a 65" interactive monitor that can be used with your laptop or the built-in PC. The display features a collaborative whiteboard and webcam with Zoom, which makes the room a great location for group meetings or to rehearse presentations. It also includes a DVD/VCR player for viewing legacy media.
Although students are a primary audience, the facility and its services are open to the entire EMU community.
