    Expand dropdown

    EMU Students: $65 | Staff/Faculty/Community: $75

The DEXA scan is considered the 'Gold Standard' in body composition testing and provides the most accurate results possible to date. This full body x-ray scan takes about 10 minutes to perform and provides information such as bone mineral density, body fat percentage and lean body mass. The test also provides detailed information for individual sections of the body for comparison.  Results are printed and discussed within the 30-minute appointment time.

To ensure the most accurate test, refrain from wearing any clothing, jewelry or accessories that contain metal. We recommend wearing athletic attire or gym clothes.

Clients wishing to use this service must weigh less than 300 lbs, cannot be pregnant, and have had no nuclear imaging tests for five days prior to their appointment.
