Registration for all currently enrolled, newly admitted transfer and second bachelor students is now open. New transfer students must schedule and meet with their advisor in order to register.

The health and well-being of our students and staff is our top priority. In accordance with the university’s recommendations for maintaining social distancing, the CHHS Advising Center will be meeting your needs virtually until further notice. Our physical office spaces will be closed to foot traffic.

  • Advising Appointments

CHHS advisors meet with admitted undergraduate students in CHHS majors and minors. The Office of Admissions can help you if you have questions about attending and/or transferring to Eastern Michigan University.

    • In order to schedule an appointment you must be admitted to EMU and logged into your my.emich GMAIL account.
    • For all appointments, we ask that you are on a computer or tablet and logged in to your emich account, and are prepared to take notes either electronically or with a pen and paper.
    • Advising appointments typically take 30 minutes and are via phone or zoom. We are currently not conducting in-person advising due to health and safety concerns.

Newly-admitted, first-year (freshmen) students will register for classes when they participate in virtual orientation and should not schedule an individual appointment with an academic advisor.
