Scholarships

• Raul A. Pozo Endowed Scholarship

  • An EMU student enrolled in CHHS
  • Bilingual student with preference given to English- and Spanish-speaking
  • Financially need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid
  • Michigan resident
  • Write an essay describing the importance of following characteristics: overcoming a personal struggle, leadership, lifelong learning, diversity, generosity, views on humanitarianism and the need to improvement of oneself
  • Scholarship should rotate between graduate and undergraduate student annually (even calendar years graduate student and odd calendar years given to an undergraduate student)
  • Preference given to a nutrition/dietetics student or physician assistant student when possible
