The Eagle Investment Fund is a student-managed fund supervised by the finance faculty and professional advisors. The fund was established as a paper fund in the summer of 2019, and has since transitioned into a real money fund in March 2022 with $110,000.
The Eagle Investment Fund allows undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at EMU’s College of Business to gain valuable real-world experience in an academic setting. Students will further their financial education by participating in investment analysis, interacting with industry leaders, and improving their chances of investment-related employment.
Students in the Eagle Investment Fund can attend the Student Managed Investment Fund Consortium (SMIFC). The SMIFC is a yearly investment conference held in Chicago which typically happens in October, with over 100 member schools.
