EducationMr. Towelll graduated from the State University of New York College at Cortland in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. Mr. Towell also completed a second Bachelor of Science in network information technology administration at Eastern Michigan University in 2000 as well as a Master of Science in Information Assurance at Walsh College in 2012.

Additional InformationMr. Towell also is a corporate sponsor and participant of the Altarum Security Assessment Group, which develops, reviews and revises the security policies that govern the protection of Altarum's electronic information and information systems.
Prior to his current position as vice president and a member of the Executive Management Group, Mr. Towell managed Altarum's IT group. His duties included overseeing the internal helpdesk, the Michigan IT group and the entire Corporate IT group.
Before assuming this role, Mr. Towell led several IT projects that advanced the organization's technology use. Before joining ALtarum, Mr. Towell was an ad hoc professor in network administration at Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan, as well as an instructor in a Detroit-based computer education firm.
