My research interest involves theoretical development in the area of biostatistics, in particular, measuring risk using attributable risk, impact numbers and standard effect measures. I supervise students with their research and independent studies. I help people within and outside the university community with their statistical needs. While teaching undergraduate and graduate level statistics courses, my goal is to provide a deep understanding of how to apply statistical theory in solving real life problems. I also teach various mathematics courses.
