Interests and Expertise
Biostatistics, Categorical Data Analysis
My research interest involves theoretical development in the area of Biostatistics, in particular, measuring risk using Attributable Risk, Impact Numbers, and standard effect measures. I supervise students with their research and independent studies. I help people within and outside the university community with their statistical needs. While teaching undergraduate and graduate level statistics courses, my goal is to provide a deep understanding of how to apply statistical theory in solving real life problems. I also teach various mathematics courses.
