My main focus is teaching future elementary teachers. My main goal is for them to have a deep understanding of the mathematics that they're going to be teaching. My hope is that they also learn to enjoy mathematics as the delightful science/art that it is! My research interests have included pre-service teachers' beliefs about mathematics, problem solving at the elementary level and how to increase college students' interest in the content of required mathematics classes.
