My teaching focus is the mathematical preparation of future teachers at both the K–8 and secondary levels. Outside of my classrooms at EMU, I regularly serve as a resource person/math coach for current K–12 teachers and students in area school districts, including Ypsilanti, Willow Run and Ann Arbor. My general research interests are the teaching and learning of mathematics at both the K–12 and undergraduate level. In particular, I am interested in issues involving the teaching and learning of geometry.
