Support for Siena Heights University Students Exploring Transfer Options at Eastern Michigan University

We know this may not have been part of your original plan, but Eastern Michigan University is here to support you every step of the way. Coming from a close-knit, mission-driven campus, we understand how important it is to find a university where you feel supported, seen, and inspired to keep growing. At EMU, we offer:

  • Free application: We will waive the undergraduate application fee for any student admitted to SHU for Fall 2025 (freshman and transfer). Use code SHU25.
  • Stackable Transfer Award: A one-time $2,000 supplemental grant that stacks on top of EMU’s existing transfer scholarship. This can be used in Fall 2025, Winter 2026, or Fall 2026, depending on your start term.
  • Graduate support: Exploring graduate school? We'll help you continue where you left off at SHU, with flexible interdisciplinary options and a waived application fee when you email [email protected].
  • A personalized transfer process, with friendly, dedicated staff to guide you along the way. 
  • Over 200 majors and minors and 150+ graduate programs, including flexible online options, and programs with 100 percent job placement.
  • A close-knit campus with the same 14:1 student-to-faculty ratio you’re used to.

FREE Tuition + On-campus Housing Support

Students admitted to Siena Heights University for Fall 2025 can receive EMU's Eagle Guarantee, covering 100 percent of tuition, if they meet eligibility requirements and provide proof of SHU admission. It’s our way of honoring your hard work and helping you stay on track. Apply by August 11.

One-time Housing Grant

SHU students not eligible for the Eagle Guarantee will be eligible for a one-time $2,500 housing grant.
