***Upward Bound is currently recruiting 8th, 9th and 10th graders!***

We recruit students in the eighth grade from Ypsilanti Community Middle Schools, and in the ninth and tenth grade from Ypsilanti Community High School.

Eligibility

Students must:

• Be in the 9th ar 10th grade at Ypsilanti Community or Ypsilanti New Tech High Schools.
• Come from a home where the parent(s) income meets the income criteria defined by the U.S. Department of Education OR where the parent with whom the student lives has not completed a four-year college degree.
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Demonstrate academic potential and a desire to do their best in high school and attend college.
• Be a US citizen or have intentions to become a permanent resident.
