Biography

Dr. Popko is the Head of the Department of World Languages. His interests and expertise include professionalization processes of TESOL teachers (including issues of expertise acquisition, discourse community, and identity), applied linguistics, TESOL and bilingual education methodology, theory and practice of reading, assessment and research design, and ESL.
