Conference/meeting spaces: Student Center and McKenny Hall
Student Center:
Built in 2006, The Student Center is the ideal location for your conference sessions. With over 28,000 square feet of available meeting space, the Student Center can accommodate a wide variety of events ranging from a breakout session for 10 guests to a large-scale conference for 1,000 guests. Our 13 meeting rooms can accommodate all types of seating arrangements.
The Student Center features:
- Personalized event planning and catering services
- A full-service catering menu available for breakfast, lunch, cocktail receptions and dinner
- Audio/Visual equipment and support
- Competitive pricing
McKenny Hall:
Previously called McKenny Union, McKenny Hall was the first student union on the campus when the building opened in 1931. This historic building has recently been renovated and offers a great vintage feel. The spacious Ballroom is the gem of the building and can currently host a meeting up to 250 and a served dinner for 150 guests. McKenny is also home to the Alumni and Tower rooms, which host from 20 to 50 guests, and the Guild Hall hosting up to 100 guests.

Residential Services
EMU provides onsite accommodations for you and your guests. Our newly renovated residence halls are in very close proximity to the dining facilities as well as the Student Center.
Our residence halls feature:
- Single or double occupancy rooms
- Air conditioned spaces
- Community & semi-private bathrooms
- Wireless internet in hallways and most common areas
- Ice machines, vending areas, and laundry rooms

Dining Services
At EMU, our staff takes great pride in offering a menu that is balanced and full of flavor for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We work to create menus that are sure to satisfy everyone's taste. Our recently remodeled all-you-care-to-eat location called The Commons, features an exciting rotating daily menu. Have a dietary need or food allergy? No problem! Our staff is able to accommodate requests and make sure your guests have a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
