To be eligible for 601 West Forest, Cornell, Lakeview or Westview for the 25/26 academic year, students must have reached 25 or more attempted credit hours at the time of room selection to secure a bed space in these areas. First-year students are not eligible for this location, regardless of how many attempted credit hours they have.

United States Postal Mail is distributed to student mailboxes Monday through Saturday. Residents must use their mail key to obtain their mail. Office staff will not take your mail out of your mailbox for you. Other special items (e.g., flowers, candy, packages and flyers) may be delivered to the front desk for distribution. Bring your EMU identification to pick up and sign for packages.

Please do not have "Eastern Michigan University" written on your mailing address since this sends it to the general mail room and will delay it getting to your ha11.
Getting to campus just got easier. Starting January 6, 2025, a new shuttle service will run between Westview Apartments and main campus, with convenient stops along the way. The shuttle will run from 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Monday through Friday. To learn more, visit the Westview Shuttle webpage.

Front desks provide items such as vacuum cleaners, brooms, mops, pails and games. Residents must present their state issued ID card as a form of identification in order to check out these items.
