Hoyt Hall is open to first year and upperclass students. Hoyt and Pittman are collectively known as “The Towers". They are located adjacent to the CrossRoad MarketPlace and near the Student Center. Single rooms are available for upperclass students; double rooms for first year and upperclass students.
The 8th floor houses our SPECTRUM community for students who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning or any other sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. Allies and friends are also invited to live in this community. Residents can expect programming that explores gender and sexual identities and will be tied into campus departments like the LGBT Resource Center.
The 9th floor houses TRIO Student Support Services (SSS), a program funded by the U.S. Department of Education to provide opportunities for academic development and assistance with basic college requirements. As part of EMU's TRIO SSS Program, students have access to unique scholarship opportunities and additional support. They are also able to participate in tailored cultural activities to help them acclimate to the university and develop strong relationships with their peers, instructors and advisors.

Hours: 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily
The Front Desks are here to help with questions, mail, keys, lockouts and to help provide some supplies and materials such as vacuum cleaners, brooms, mops, kitchen supplies and games.
