Delegates
In addition to the Senators, there are up to five (5) delegates on the Senate.
Each delegate shall represent a different constituency on campus. Delegates’ constituencies shall possess a seat until the conclusion of the Winter Semester.
The Internal Affairs Committee shall administer the process for soliciting and reviewing applications from constituencies, and recommending constituencies to the Senate.
In reviewing applications the Committee shall consider criteria that include, but is not limited to:
- Breadth and degree of the constituency representation of the student body;
- Need for representation in Student Government
- The constituencies history of providing quality delegates; and
- The organization has been in good standing as defined by the University for at least two (2) academic years.
Delegate seats are awarded on a first-come first serve basis.
