Campus Life Coaches Program Debuts this September

Campus Life Coaches (CLCs) will help students design a well balanced college experience and find involvement opportunities that match their academic and career goals. Students can meet with coaches one on one, attend events and workshops, and participate in online communities.

Our CLC signature series for this fall is "Relationship Reboot", where student storytellers share
their experiences connecting with others to bridge the gaps and isolation the pandemic has caused.

The Campus Life Coaches will also be at EagleFest on September 8 to assist students who are feeling lost or overwhelmed at the Student Org Fair. Stop by to connect with a CLC!

New EMU House of Representatives Starting Fall 2022

This fall will bring an exciting new opportunity for student organizations!

In an effort to amplify the voice of students and to foster better communication and collaboration among student organizations, Campus Life will be working with students to co-create EMU’s first House of Representatives.

Each Recognized Student Organization will have the chance to have their president (or designee) participate as a voting member of the House. Representatives will identify, debate, and vote on issues impacting student success and draft resolutions to advocate a stance to the administration. University Regents and Administrators will work closely with the HOR, giving students direct access to the decision makers who shape EMU.

Organizations will be able to submit the name of their House Rep as part of the organization registration process.

Want to learn more? Email [email protected] or Zoom into an info session on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 6-7pm. Visit tiny.emich.edu/horinfo at that time to ask questions or share your thoughts.
