Students engage in activity analysis to understand the complexity of the occupation of gardening.

 

 

MakeyMakey Intervention

Students learn how to use the simple technology of MakeyMakey units to create adapted toys and games in order to elicit specific skills.

O and P

Orthotics and Prosthetics partners with Occupational Therapy to support student learning of adaptive devices.

Research

Students present their research at the annual Spelbring Occupational Therapy Conference held at EMU.

Wheelchair

Students adapt the task of changing a diaper from the perspective of a parent using a wheelchair.

 

Fieldwork

Adults in the community receive occupational therapy services from OT students in their Level 1 fieldwork.
