Arab American Research Initiative Award
Dr. Kristine Ajrouch, Professor of Sociology, has been awarded $15,355 from the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS) to conduct research using the American Community Survey. This project will provide descriptions of the demographic, family, and health characteristics of Arab Americans. Data and results will provide a resource for social service agencies so they may identify needs as well as draw from strengths within various Arab American communities in the U.S.
