Rachel Dick is a part-time lecturer in Women's & Gender Studies at EMU. In addition to teaching, Rachel is the Coordinator of the University Writing Center for Graduate Studies (UWCGS) and the Coordinator of the UWC’s GACET Satellite. Her academic and professional interests focus on biopolitics, specifically on the impacts of trauma on our intersectional identities and how systems of power and inequality in society negatively impact our wellbeing. When she’s not working, Rachel spends most of her spare time with her partner and their sons, gardening, baking, playing board games, and enjoying time outside
