The Children's Institute at Eastern Michigan University provides high-quality care and education for children 18 months through six years. A full day program is available for toddlers, and full and half day programs are available for preschoolers and pre-kindergartners. Free full-day preschool is also available for those who qualify for the Great Start Readiness Program. Our Flights of Imagination summer camp offers exciting and varied programs for children entering kindergarten through first grade.

Enrollment dates for current and new families
Open Enrollment for new families will begin Monday, March 24, 2025 at 7:30 am for both in person and emailed application enrollment. Emailed application forms may be submitted via email to [email protected]. We will try to give priority to enrollment in the following order: EMU Student Families, EMU Faculty/Staff, Community.

You now have the option of paying tuition and registration Fees online. To make a payment on line, visit the Ebill website.
Menu
Fees include breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. Our menu changes weekly to provide a wide range of foods for children to try. The menu is on a four week cycle and is subject to change.
