Pam is delighted to put her degrees to use as part of EMU's Department of Communication, Media and Theatre Arts where she has served as assistant managing director for EMU Theatre since 1996. Her current position includes:
In her years of theatre participation she has taken on a variety of roles such as actress, director and producer and has worked with several area theatres including The Purple Rose, Performance Network, the Riverside Arts Center and of course, EMU. Pam has also had the opportunity to teach fundamentals of speech, senior seminar and fundamentals of acting for EMU. Additionally, she worked as an annual guest director for Huron High School in Ann Arbor from 1998–2012 and directed for Chelsea High School, winning the MIFA State Championship for Outstanding Class B Play for 2005–2006. Pam was the 2018 recipient of the Michigan Thespians "Standing Ovation Award" presented by the Michigan Educational Theatre Association. Most recently she has stepped into the role of intimacy choreographer, training with Theatrical Intimacy Education (TIE) and working to create consent-based environments.
