Biography
Riley serves as the Student Success and Engagement graduate assistant for Eastern Michigan’s Honors College. Riley is a recent graduate of EMU and holds a BA in history and political science. During his undergraduate education, Riley found a love for research and participated in EMU's Undergraduate Symposium, while also being in the McNair Scholars Program. Riley is pursuing his MA in Higher Education & Student Affairs, where he hopes to build connections between the field of higher education and his historical interests, which are heavily tied in the concept of democratic preservation. When outside of school, he enjoys the outdoors with an affinity for camping, kayaking, and hiking. When Michigan’s weather does not allow for such activities, he enjoys reading and writing about historical events, playing tabletop games, and doom-scrolling.Memberships
