GEAR UP
Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) is a national college access program with the purpose of increasing the number of underserved students who are prepared to enter and achieve a postsecondary education.
GEAR UP is designed to serve a cohort of students, from target schools, beginning in the seventh grade and continuing throughout high school and their first year of college.
Who can participate in GEAR UP?
Students in the following target schools may can enroll in GEAR UP and participate in GEAR UP services offered through Eastern Michigan University.
