Eien is from Carleton, Michigan, a small town in Monroe County. He first began working in aquatics in 2019 working as a lifeguard for the Jefferson Recreation Center until 2020 when he began working as a Lifeguard for the Huron Clinton Metroparks. From 2022-2024 Eien Served as a aquatics facilities supervisor at Lower Huron and Willow Metroparks. Eien graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Oakland University in Environmental Science. While at Oakland University he was involved in the Universities Ecology club and was a member of the Model UN team. While attending Oakland University he was a research assistant in the river ecology lab from 2022-2024 and continued to work in various parks and recreation programs including Rochester Hills City Parks (2023-2024) and Stony Creek Metropark (2024-2025). Eien is excited to continue working in aquatics and facilities at Eastern Michigan University as Graduate Assistant.
Eien enjoys fly fishing, beekeeping, running, playing pickup basketball, reading, and talking sports.
