Biography
Jen is a dedicated and passionate professional in the sport and recreation field. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management from Central Michigan University in 2020, followed by a Master of Arts in Sport Administration from CMU in 2022. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctorate of Psychology in Educational Studies here at Eastern Michigan University, with an expected graduation in 2027.
Originally from the small town of Beaverton, Michigan, Jen has been immersed in sports from a young age. Her lifelong involvement in athletics has fueled her enthusiasm for the industry and informed her professional endeavors. In addition to her academic achievements, she teaches sport management courses part-time at Central Michigan University, sharing her knowledge and experience with aspiring sport management professionals in the same program she went through as an undergraduate.
Jen has a wealth of experience in sports and recreation social media and marketing. She has worked with organizations such as the City of Mt. Pleasant Parks and Recreation, USA Softball, and Central Michigan University, where she has honed her skills in various aspects of the field.
Interests and Expertise
When she’s not working or studying, Jen enjoys traveling, going to sporting events and Disney World, riding her bike, and spending quality time with her family. She is also an avid Miami Dolphins fan - Fins up! When she has downtime, Jen loves to unwind by laughing at her favorite TV shows; The Office, Frasier, Parks and Recreation, and Modern Family.
