Biography

Jeff worked as a Pool Assistant, Lifeguard, and Swim Instructor for the Rec/IM from 2011 through 2013 where he became inspired to change his goals and pursue a career in the recreation industry. Since leaving EMU, Jeff has served as the Aquatics Director for the Farmington Family YMCA, General Manager of Cranbrook Swim Club/Arbor Fit Club, and the General Manager of Aqua Tots Swim School in Auburn Hills. Throughout his career, he has managed staff size ranging from 20-50, has planned and coordinated fundraisers, swim meets, and other special events, all in addition to managing his own programs, and implementing new ones. The Rec/IM was always special for Jeff because it was where he first found his work family and he hopes to continue to keep the culture alive and foster that for current and future Rec/IM staff. 

Jeff's interests include sports, (especially hockey and the Red Wings), fitness (he is also a certified group exercise and personal trainer), reading, and watch collecting (he already has 15 and growing).
