Graduate Students Estimated Cost of Attendance

International graduate students are required to take eight credit hours per semester to maintain legal F-1 status. As most of our classes are three credit hours, the cost estimates below assume a student is taking nine credit hours per semester for two semesters per year (18 credit hours per year).

Students receiving the National Scholars Program (NSP) scholarship pay in-state tuition and fees ($750 per credit hour). Students who are non-residents and are not receiving the NSP pay out-of-state tuition and fees ($1,335 per credit hour). Students with a cumulative bachelor's GPA of 3.6 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) are automatically considered for the scholarship.

Without NSP Scholarship

  • Registration fee ($50 per semester): $100
  • Tuition (18 credit hours): $24,030
  • Insurance (required for international students): $1779
  • Room and board (housing and meal plan): $9,956
  • Total estimated cost for graduate students: $35,865 per year without National Scholars Program
