We have you covered. The EMU School of Social Work's continuing education seminars offer courses and workshops to help practicing social workers expand their knowledge and meet state requirements (45 hours every three years) for continuing education. We also have several CEU events throughout the year which are highlighted below:
The EMU School of Social Work's 2021-22 Child Welfare In-Service Training for Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and MDHHS-Contracted Private Agencies trainings are for child welfare caseworkers, principally Children’s Protective Services, foster care, and adoption workers working for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services; child welfare case workers working for contracted private agencies; or staff of State-licensed or State approved child care institutions providing care to Title IV-E foster and adoptive children.

Continuing education courses cannot be applied toward the social work undergraduate (BSW) or graduate (MSW) degree programs at Eastern Michigan University.
