Biography

Sage was recently hired as an Academic Success Coordinator at the Honors College here at Eastern Michigan University.  From the Woodhaven-Brownstown, Michigan area, Sage graduated from Eastern Michigan University in August of 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.  Prior to Psychology, Sage was planning to pursue a degree in Nursing.  After one semester, they realized that it was not the right fit.  Inspired by the academic advisors Sage met along the way, they are now pursuing a Master of Educational Leadership.  Sage started their first semester in the Higher Education Student Affairs program this fall and hopes to graduate by the end of 2025 with an Academic Advising Certificate.  In their free time, Sage enjoys reading, painting, nature walks, and spending time with their dog and cats.
