Contextual Behavioral Science Lab

Lab Mission
To conduct research on behavioral principles,
expand our understanding of behavior-context functional relations,
and support and improve the application of functional analysis
in health service psychology.

Our research focuses on evidence-based behavior change and health decision-making. To promote and facilitate health behaviors across the adult lifespan, we examine the impact of psychosocial, environmental, and medical contexts on individuals' and families' wellbeing. We also study how to best support individuals with neurological conditions and their families.

Our goal is to disseminate and implement scientific principles, know-how, and techniques that improve quality of life and maintain or enhance relationships. Our work applies to individuals, dyads, families,  and care systems.
