Contextual Behavioral Science Lab

Our research focuses on evidence-based behavior change and health decision-making. We are interested in health behaviors across the adult lifespan, considering the intersection of biomedical and psychological conditions. We study how to detect cognitive loss and its consequences, and how to best support individuals and families in their caregiving journey, which can last from two to 20 years. We examine how to make caregiver needs visible within healthcare settings, and how to improve relationships in high-conflict situations that involve vulnerable adults. Our work involves education and outreach.
