Student Professional Development FundThe funds may be used to enhance student professional development through out-of-class learning experiences, such as travel to professional conferences or meetings, assistance in developing presentations to professional organizations, and seed money to conduct research and/or pursue grants. These funds cannot be used for on-campus conferences or Student Org focused events/activities. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but funds are limited so apply early!

Faculty Open Access Publishing Fund Expand dropdownEMU's Faculty Open Access Publishing Fund supports faculty authors who desire to make their scholarship freely available to readers upon publication. Tenured and tenure-track faculty are invited to apply for up to $3,000 to pay article processing charges (APCs) associated with publishing in open access journals and books. Eligible journals are listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals; in the case of books or book chapters, the publisher is listed in the DOAB Directory of Open Access Books.
