Faculty Resources
Interested in proposing a Faculty-led study abroad or US Travel program? Proposals are vetted through Modern Campus Curriculum (MCC).
- Go to https://emich.curriculog.com/ and log in using your credentials.
- Select +New Proposal.
- Look for Faculty-led Travel Program Request (U.S. Travel or Study Abroad).
- You can then either open the preview form to review the requirements of the proposal until you're ready or launch a proposal.
The proposal cycle for faculty-led programs is held from March 1 through April 30 for programs to be held during the following calendar year. All programs must have completed the input process within the academic department before submission of the proposal in MCC.
If you need assistance with planning or conceptualizing your program, contact Kristen Krug-Shaffer at [email protected].
Program Locations
EMU does not permit study abroad programs to be held in countries at Level 4 on the US Department of State Travel Advisory list. Programs in countries with a Level 3 warning are typically not approved for travel and are considered on a case by case basis. Health and Safety are our primary concern. When a previously approved program's location appears on the Travel Warning or Alert list, the itinerary or program in process may need to be changed or cancelled.
