    Advising Awareness Week is March 4 - March 8th.

    Tips and reminders related to advising will be posted to our instagram so be sure to follow along! @emuadvisingandcareer

    The UACDC Advising Graduate Assistants will be available on the following days to answer quick advising questions, schedule advising appointments, and show students how to access their graduation requirements. 

    You can find them:

    • Tuesday, March 5th 1:00 - 3:00 pm on the 1st floor of the Student Center
    • Wednesday, March 6th 2:00 - 4:00 pm in McKenny Hall near Chick-Fil-A
    • Thursday, March 7th 1:00 - 3:00 pm on the 1st floor of the Student Center

  • Registration Blitz | March 26 | Student Center Ballroom Expand dropdown

    The Student Success and Academic Support Services area is excited to invite you to our Registration Blitz event! 

    When: March 26, 2024 from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

    Where: Student Center Ballroom

    What: Registration Blitz is a university-wide collaborative event that aims to help our currently enrolled students register on time for the Summer and Fall 2024 semesters.

    Who: All currently enrolled undergraduate EMU students!

    Students will have the opportunity to:

    • Meet with their advisor to plan Summer and Fall 2024 classes
    • Register for Summer and Fall 2024 classes
    • Speak with Service EMU about registration holds
    • Talk to faculty about their programs
    • Meet campus resources
    • Enjoy some free snacks!

  • Quick Question Advising | Tuesdays 1:00 - 4:00 pm Expand dropdown

    Quick Question Advising is for admitted, undergraduated exploratory students.

    When: Tuesdays 1:00 - 4:00 pm

    Where: 200 McKenny Hall or via Zoom

    Some topics that can be addressed during express advising are:

    • Understanding PINS on your account
    • Current course concerns
    • Audit questions
    • Changing Major/Minor/Concentrations
    • Academic Probation/Dismissal questions

    Topics that cannot be addressed during express advising (please schedule an appointment instead):

  • Financial Empowerment Center Expand dropdown

    The Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) offers professional, one-on-one financial counseling as a free public service to enable Washtenaw County residents and EMU students, staff & faculty to address their financial challenges, needs, and plan for their futures. Located within the University Advising & Career Development Center by appointment.
