College Advisory Council

The College Advisory Council (CAC) is the official input body for the College of Arts and Sciences. Through careful and thorough review of course and program proposals and budget information, CAC supports academic excellence in all its forms at Eastern Michigan University and is essential to the process of shared governance. The Council consists of 18 faculty representatives, each elected by their department or school to a two-year term.

Course and program proposals under review by CAC may be found in Curriculog under "Agendas."
