Much of his work concerns the inheritance of trauma, specifically concerning Jewish experience in Eastern Europe. He is co-founder and co-director of FestivALT, a program of radical and experimental Jewish art based in Kraków, Poland. Francisco is an associate professor at Emory University in the department of Film and Media Studies.
