Empowering Students to Thrive in an Ever-changing World

The College of Arts and Sciences' eighteen departments and schools offer majors in the arts, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, as well as several majors oriented toward particular careers. Teaching and supporting our students is our faculty’s first priority, and we offer small- to medium-sized classes that allow students to get to know their professors and fellow students. Because our professors are active researchers and artists, they are able to teach about the latest discoveries and current debates in their fields, and to guide students' research and creative projects.
