Biography

Amy Homkes-Hayes is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Leadership and Counseling department teaching higher education and student affairs courses. Amy has worked for many years in higher education in a number of functional areas including career services, alumni relations, student services, teaching and learning, and academic innovation and online learning. Amy has spent the majority of her time employed at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in roles of increasing responsibility launching or shepherding new higher education initiatives to scale. Amy is also a higher education consultant working with teams and units in setting goals, improving communication, and evolving practices. Amy is a certified MBTI practitioner, StrengthsQuest Educator and trained in Motivational Interviewing.
