Nate Friedman, MA, CCC-SLP, is an accomplished speech-language pathologist with over 10 years of experience diagnosing and treating communication impairments, including speech sound disorders, language disorders, and social communication challenges.
Having worked in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, and private practice, Nate has provided comprehensive speech and language services to individuals across the lifespan. Specializing in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis and treatment, he is a certified ADOS administrator and applies evidence-based practices to help individuals and families achieve their communication goals.
Currently, Nate serves as a Clinical Educator and Internship Coordinator, where he mentors and trains the next generation of speech-language pathologists. In his role, he coordinates with local organizations to provide graduate students with valuable hands-on clinical experiences through the clinical internship courses CSD 687, 688, and 689. Through his leadership in education, Nate continues to make a significant impact on both his students and the broader Ypsilanti community, fostering professional growth and advancing the field of speech-language pathology.
