Biography
Dr. Mukherjee joined EMU in Fall 2024 with a specialization in International Relations and Comparative Politics. After receiving her PhD from Arizona State University in 2022, she taught as the Henry Luce Foundation/ASIANetwork Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow and Visiting Assistant Professor of International Relations at Knox College from 2022-2024.

- Religion and Politics
- Asian Politics
- Foreign Policy
She is currently working on her book project that grapples with the dynamics of intractable conflicts, especially those fought over religion. Understanding these conflicts in terms of their intensity and duration, her project analyzes five decades (1950-2000) of Hindu-Muslim conflicts in India.
