The Rec/IM Department strives to provide opportunities for the campus and surrounding community to participate in activities that promote a healthy lifestyle including group fitness classes, personal training and other wellness events.
The Rec/IM Department is excited to offer a variety of fitness opportunities including Group Fitness and Personal Training. Our fitness staff is committed to helping you achieve your goals and have fun at the same time!
EMU faculty/staff and other affiliates that purchase a full priced membership will not be charged an additional fee for Group Fitness classes.
We are consistently striving to increase your awareness about health, mind and body as well as enhance our collaborative efforts on campus. We will keep you updated about fitness programs, nutrition seminars, and other wellness-related opportunities at the Rec/IM and across campus. Our goal is to do everything in our power to encourage you to make healthy lifestyle choices.
You can register at the front counter of the Rec/IM when you come in.
Make sure you have your Student ID or Rec/IM Membership Card EVERY TIME you attend a class.
In the event that campus is closed, fitness classes will also be cancelled until campus is reopened. Class changes and cancellations will be updated through the Rec/IM website. In addition, if you are unable to access the schedule in PDF format, all classes are available for viewing on the Rec/IM Group Fitness Calendar.
