COVID-19: Access to Campus Laboratories for Critical Infrastructure Employees

Due to the Governor’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order and the Washtenaw Health Department’s Emergency Order, EMU is required to identify “critical infrastructure employees” and to provide a screening process for said employees when they perform their critical on-campus duties.  In order to comply, EMU is restricting access to on-campus research laboratories.  All EMU faculty and research teams are asked to complete this Google Form in order to identify essential laboratory processes that should remain in standby mode during this time of interruption and to identify who will perform essential tasks.  After reviewing the form, your College Dean and the Provost may approve access to your laboratory to perform the essential tasks.  If so, the employee will receive a document that authorizes their presence in the laboratory. The employee is required to complete the University Human Resources’ Daily COVID-19 Screening Form [PDF] for each visit.
