All first year students (those who will be completing high school Spring 2023) are required to attend SOAR (Student Orientation Advising and Registraiont) in order to regsiter for their first semester courses. Students may schedule follow up appointments after attending SOAR if needed.

No problem! While our office does not meet with students until they have been admitted to EMU, EMU's admission's team is an excellent resource for students inquiring about EMU's programs before they are admitted. Our admissions advisors can answer any questions you have whether your are an incoming freshman or a transfer student.

Students who have a declared major or know what major they want to declare/change to need to meet with advisors within their college.
To change/declare your major, minor, concentration, etc., please complete and submit the Undergraduate Major/Minor Declaration Form.
