Biography
I hold both undergraduate and graduate level degrees in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Michigan University and am a certified teacher in the state of Michigan with a ZA early childhood endorsement. I have enjoyed a thirty-year career in the field, serving as family child care provider, preschool teacher, administrator, consultant, a compensated validator for NAEYC as part of their accreditation process, Professional Development Specialist for the Council for Professional Recognition, and now working with adult learners. I previously served as department chair of Early Childhood Education for Baker College, and am currently also teaching at Schoolcraft College.
