The Secondary Education Psychology Minor, along with skills acquired through a major course of study, prepares you to teach Psychology to 6-12th grade classrooms.
What You Will Learn
You will learn a scientific perspective of human experience, behavior, needs, desires and potentialities. Additional courses in education and methods will teach you to bring the excitement of psychology into the classroom.
Successful completion of this minor, in the context of other program requirements, qualifies you for recommendation for the Michigan Department of Education Psychology (CE) endorsement. Certified teachers with the Psychology endorsement can teach Psychology in 6-12th grade classrooms.
